Hello world: Tai is calling

After years of quietly building, I finally put up a personal canvas: tech, AI, films, books, photos, games, and anything worth writing down.

Hello world: Tai is calling

Hello world. This is the first post on my personal site.

For a long time I kept notes scattered across private files, chats, and half-forgotten drafts. This site is where I want to make that thinking public enough to be useful, but still personal enough to stay honest.

What this site is for#

I do not want to lock the site into one niche. I build software, so there will be engineering notes. I build products, so there will be product decisions and trade-offs. I also watch films, read books, take photos, play games, and get obsessed with random things.

The common thread is simple: write when a thought needs a clearer shape.

What to expect#

  • Tech — debugging notes, implementation details, tools, and architecture.
  • Product — decisions, compromises, and lessons from shipping.
  • AI — practical workflows, experiments, and mistakes.
  • Personal notes — films, books, games, photos, and anything else that sticks.

No fixed schedule. No content calendar. Just a place to think in public.

QuickSpend is finally actually quick

QuickSpend 3.0 adds a voice-first flow through Siri and Shortcuts — fast enough to log an expense without opening the app.
